Who would have thought the most intense race in the region would have been the fight to become your next Orange-Osceola State Attorney?

We’ve got a video link below to an intense exchange of words between State Attorney Lawson Lamar and his prosecutor turned opponent Jeff Ashton. Ashton of course is the attorney who prosecuted Casey Anthony and best selling author.

Lamar will be one of the many lawmakers attending the Orange County Young Republicans Hob Nob tonight at the Varsity Club at the Citrus Bowl. Others expected are Congressman Daniel Webster, John Mica, Orange County Mayor Teresa Jacobs, and many more.

There are no Republicans in that contest and it’s important to get a strong turnout from all voters in that important contest. If Ashton’s campaign chooses to attend they can purchase admission and a separate straw poll will be conducted.
