Wednesday Morning Political Headlines: Primaries. The Next Day

In Uncategorized on August 15, 2012 at 2:20 pm

Last night was something else, right?

We had everything from the predictable, like Connie Mack IV rolling into his general election showdown with Senator Bill Nelson and Judge Belvin Perry winning in a landslide in his judicial race.

We also had the unexpected, like dark horse Todd Long winning the Republican primary in the 9th District and punching his ticket to a general election match up with Democrat Alan Grayson who wasted no time attacking Long on television minutes after the race was called.

Then George Anthony shocked Orlando by driving to Jeff Ashton’s victory party to embrace the man who prosecuted his daughter after his victory in the most intense race in the region, Orange-Osceola State Attorney Race.

So much more coming today. Here are your Wednesday Morning Political Headlines.
